  • A focused, 90-minute consultation (in-home or virtual) designed to tackle specific challenges from paint palettes and floor plans to sourcing direction or finishing touches. You’ll walk away with clear, actionable guidance and a plan to move forward with confidence.

We believe great design starts with connection. At The Carolina Home, our small but mighty team combines creativity, collaboration, and care to craft spaces that reflect the people who live in them. With a balance of heart and precision, we handle every detail with intention so the process feels effortless and the results feel unmistakably you.

Lynn

Founder & Principal Designer

  • A creative at heart with a background in advertising and marketing, Lynn pairs intuition and taste with serious project-management chops to bring her clients’ visions to life. Originally from New England, her love of light, coastal-inspired spaces is infused into everything she designs — timeless, relaxed, and beautifully livable.

    After moving from Boston to North Carolina, Lynn launched The Carolina Home to help families discover the untapped potential in their own homes. Her approach is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and thoughtful detail, treating every project as if it were her own.

    When she’s not designing, you’ll find her at the beach (her happy place), sipping wine from a fancy glass, or crafting the perfect charcuterie board, always playing music.

  • With experience in home styling, kitchen and bath design, and full-scale interiors, Monica brings a thoughtful blend of creativity and organization to our studio. She supports design development while also managing many of the behind-the-scenes details that keep our projects flowing seamlessly and error-free. With her natural eye for detail and genuine passion for creating spaces that feel both beautiful and personal, she ensures every design runs smoothly from start to finish.

    When she’s not designing, you’ll find her outdoors with her husband and their dog, discovering the best artisanal cocktails in Raleigh, or flowing through a yoga class.
